Man Learns His Self-Worth

Scientist have ascertained that the component parts of the human body including your organs, skin, tissue and bones are valued at approximately $100,000.00. One die-hard goon took that to the extreme. The ugly details follow.

Upon hearing this news Roughneck Rambo Sambo received an immediate shot of adrenalin and his ego and self-esteem climbed out of the symbolic gutter they’d called home for the past 30 years.

You see, now, Sambo was never known for being prudent, intelligent or even normal. And, he was low on cash to get what he needed the most- booze.

So half-drunk Rambo Sambo made a deal with one of his booze buddies at Pedro’s Pool Hall. Sambo and his wretched drunkard bar-hopping friend came to an agreement. This buddy would pay Sambo $50- enough booze money to get him through the night, if he could cut off Sambos leg.

Well, an hour or so later and it was all over. A blood covered chain saw and blood splattered walls and a human leg laying on the floor. Rambo Sambo had a stump covered over in layers of duct tape and $50 cash. It’s back to the bar. Let the good times roll.

After 30 or 40 shots and about 20 or 30 more beers, Sambo grew more somber and wondered if he’d made the right decision. Maybe his leg was worth more than $50? Before he knew it the $50 was gone- he’d drank it all up, and his leg was gone.

He’d lost a lot of blood and he’d drank down to his last quarter. Pedro’s was closing for the night. Maybe tomorrow Sambo could sell his other leg for $100? An arm would probably bring in $75? He knew he couldn’t have his head cut off for he wouldn’t be able to drink then!

Sambo stumbled back to his hole. He’d sleep it off tonight and worry about what he’d do for tomorrows booze money then.
